How To Make Mulethi and Tulsi Tea?

Add one piece of Mulethi and a few Tulsi leaves to 2 cups of water. Boil it for 5 minutes until the water is reduced to half. Strain the tea and add honey or lemon juice if you want.  

Ginger and Honey Concoction

Rich in anti-inflammatory properties, ginger is one of the best Ayurvedic herbs to promote lung functions. During the winters, you are more prone to suffering from congestion and clogging of air passages. Ginger helps to detoxify the lungs, relieve congestion, unclog the air passages and improve circulation in the lungs. Honey is also highly effective to boost your lung health. How To Make Ginger and Honey Concoction?

Lemon, Ginger and Peppermint Tea

Boil 2 cups of water and add one teaspoon of grated ginger to it. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Then, add a few peppermint leaves to it and turn off the heat. Let it steep for a few minutes, and then add one teaspoon of lemon juice to it.   

Triphala and Honey

Ayurveda classifies Triphala as a Tridoshic Rasayana, meaning that it helps to pacify all the aggravated Doshas. Additionally, Triphala is also known for its detoxifying and rejuvenating properties that help to promote the functioning of the lungs. Furthermore, Bhibhitaki, one of the three ingredients of Triphala, helps cleanse the lungs and treat respiratory ailments. 

How To Make Triphala and Honey Concoction?

Mix one tablespoon of Triphala powder with one teaspoon of honey and consume it every night during the winter season. 

Pippali and Honey

Pippali or long pepper is a potent Ayurvedic herb to cure lung problems. It helps reduce inflammation, clear excess mucus, relieve nasal congestion and treat many other respiratory disorders. It is one of the best herbs to pacify Vata and Kapha Dosha in the body. 

How To Make Pippali and Honey Concoction?

Take one teaspoon of Pippali powder, a pinch of turmeric powder, a little bit of ginger powder and one teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients in 1 cup of lukewarm water and have this concoction every day to promote lung health.
