Shatavari can be taken orally as a tablet, or with milk in its powdered form.

Ginger

Ginger is an important herb in Ayurveda and is used to cure impotency. Ginger is scientifically proven to help keep erections firm and improve sexual prowess.

How To Consume

Ginger can be eaten raw, or if you find it hard to eat raw or by itself because of its pungent taste, it can be added to meals as an ingredient. Another way to eat ginger is to sauté some grated ginger in a tablespoon of ghee and add the mixture to warm milk or other dishes. Pure ginger capsules can also be consumed.

Safed Musli

Safed Musli has immense healing properties and has been used as a folk remedy in India. In a study conducted, it was found that safed musli produced a significant increase in the libido of subjects of the study. The powdered root of safed musli increased the subjects’ sperm count, and was effective at treating sexual inadequacies such as premature ejaculation and oligosperma.

How To Consume

The dried roots of musli are available in the market as Safed Musli. Fifteen grams of roots boiled in one cup of milk should be taken twice daily to treat erectile dysfunction.

Amla

Amla, or the Indian gooseberry, helps to manage sexual problems because of its Vrishya (aphrodisiac) property. Amla has been shown to have a great effect on sperm quality on an experiment conducted on roosters.

Amla powder can be dissolved in water and consumed on an empty stomach. It can also be taken with honey, first thing in the morning.

Almonds

Almonds, called “Vaataadah” in Ayurveda, are recommended for men in erectile dysfunction and male infertility. In a recent study conducted, almonds were proven to significantly increase sexual hormone level and decrease diabetes induced erectile dysfunction on the subjects of the study.

How To Consume

Soak 10 almonds in water overnight. Peel off the skin on the next day and consume. You could also make them into fine powder. Mix this almond powder in milk and have it in the morning.

Salab Misri

The root of salab misri is known for its potent restorative action and is regarded as a great invigorator. It helps combat sexual weakness and increases stamina and prowess.

In a recent scientific observation, Salab misri improves sperm count and semen quality. It is also effective in treating male infertility associated with oligospermia and sexual disability associated with diabetes.

How To Consume

3 to 5g powder of salab misri should be taken with milk daily.
