Bhringraj or Eclipta alba (Eclipta alba), is an ayurveda herb that has been widely used in traditional medicine. It is a common weed that mostly occurs as a weed in paddy growing fields. Eclipta alba is beneficial for liver problems, hair growth, and eye health. 

What is Eclipta alba?

Eclipta alba is a widely used annual herb that belongs to the family Asteraceae. It is also known as bringraj and false daisy. Eclipta alba is native to India and Southwest America, which mostly grows in tropical and subtropical countries, such as China, Brazil, and Thailand. It is a creeping herb that grows up to 3 meters in height. 

It is a branched herb that has white colored flowers and lance-shaped leaves in the opposite direction. The flowers and leaves of Eclipta alba are used to make supplements that are used as medicine either internally or topically. In China and Brazil, Eclipta alba is used as an anti-venom for snake poisoning.
