Ms. Uthara Shravan is an acclaimed dietitian/nutritionist with 26 years of experience. Ms. Uthara Shravan practices at Thyroid And Endocrine Clinic in Vadapalani, Chennai, and Diaplus Endocrine Clinic (near D.L.F.) in Mugalivakkam, Chennai. She completed her M.Sc. in Home Science (Food & Nutrition) from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in 1998. She is a member of the prestigious Indian Dietetic Association.

Ms. Uthara is a Special RD (Registered Dietitian) accredited by the Indian Dietetic Association, with over 25 years of experience in the field of Healthcare. She holds a Masters in Food Science and Nutrition from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator from CMC Vellore, and has completed Post Graduate certified course in Practical Diabetology from Steno Diabetes Research Center, Denmark. Uthara is LLL Certified in Renal and Onco Nutrition by the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (2019) and recently certified for Perioperative nutrition and Nutrition assessment techniques (2020) by ESPEN.

With her vast experience and qualification, she has dealt with almost all clinical conditions requiring Nutrition intervention. Her previous positions include: Senior Dietitian at Apollo Hospitals & Chief Dietitian at SIMS Hospital- SRM Institutes for Medical Science, Chennai. Apart from sharing her expertise in many National & International forums, Ms. Uthara Shravan has also given presentations in hospitals, colleges, corporate offices, schools and on television. Uthara believes in a holistic approach to wellness. She advocates a healthy lifestyle that includes good nutrition, adequate exercise, enriching sleep-wake cycle and stress management.
