Dr. H.M.Chandola

Prof. (Dr.) Hari Mohan Chandola, a Doctor of Medicine in Ayurveda with a Ph.D. in Ayurveda and a Diploma in Yoga from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), holds the esteemed position of Chairman of three prestigious Ayurved committees. These include the Research Committee and the Institutional Ethics Committee at Uttarakhand Ayurved University in Dehradun, as well as the Institutional Ethics Committee at CH.Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan in New Delhi.

Previously, Dr. Chandola served as the Director-Principal of Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan under the Government of NCT of Delhi. He also held the positions of HOD & Dean – IPGT&RA at Gujarat Ayurved University Jamnagar, and Professor & Hospital Director at Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College & Hospital on Rajpur Road, Dehradun. Additionally, he has served as Chairman, Coordinator, and Nodal officer of several reputed research centers.

Having earned advanced degrees in Ayurvedic medicine and certifications in Yoga from BHU between 1976 and 1982, Dr. Chandola has dedicated himself to sharing his knowledge and expertise with students as a lecturer, professor, and reader at prominent colleges across India.

In recognition of his remarkable contributions to the field of Ayurveda, Dr. Hari Chandola has been awarded the Life Time Achievement Award in 2014 and the Life Tree Award in 2008.

Dr. Chandola has authored numerous research projects and guided over 60 theses during his Ph.D., M.D., and P.G. Diploma. He has delivered lectures on Ayurvedic Medicine around the world, including in the USA, Germany, Portugal, Malaysia, Poland, and Sri Lanka, among other countries. He has also given guest lectures at recognized research centers and Ayurvedic Hospitals.

Dr. Chandola has written over 150 papers on Diabetes and the Ayurvedic Approach to Lifestyle Diseases, with 136 of these papers published and presented at distinguished conferences, seminars, symposia, and workshops.
