Ayurvedic Detox Drinks: Recipe to Restore the Balance of the Body

Ayurvedic Detox Drinks Recipes

Ayurveda is a holistic way of living life. This ancient medicinal art relies on the belief that the body needs to be in unity with mind and spirit. The basic principle of Ayurveda is recognising the dominant Dosha of the person and healing them accordingly. Ayurveda recognises three Doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The treatment in Ayurveda is based on these Doshas.

Toxins and Detoxification

The cells in the body create waste in the form of toxins. Regular cleansing of toxins is important for a well-functioning body and mind. These toxins otherwise may lead to many health disorders. Apart from treatments, Ayurveda also stresses on lifestyle changes to help the body remove toxins, such as including yoga and meditation, eating light food, etc. The toxins have a direct effect on mental health as well since our digestive system is responsible for the release of many hormones that affect mood and stress. Hence, detoxification is important to restore the balance of the body. Among many methods of detoxification, one of the most convenient ones is including detox drinks in your dietary routine.
