Dr. Katiyar has a Ph.D. in Rasa Shastra (Pharmacology) from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and a Fellowship from the Indian Pharmacological Society.
Bio
Dr Katiyar has published more than 25 book chapters, over 50 research papers and has nearly 20 patents to his name. He has been awarded several awards and accolades including Dr. C. Dwarakanath Indian Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine (IASTAM) Award in 2012, Sir Col. R.N. Chopra Oration Award in 2008, and Distinguished contribution to Ayurveda award by Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad at Dehradun, Uttaranchal in 2001.
