How to Use Orange Peels for Skin?

Most people use orange peels in their powder form. To make orange peel powder, dry a few orange peels and hand pound them into powder form. Do not keep this powder in the refrigerator. Store it in an airtight container, away from dust and contamination.  

You can combine orange peel powder with other ingredients and use it as an exfoliator or face mask. Alternatively, you can also buy the oil extracted from the orange peels and mix it with other herbs to apply it to the skin.  

Orange Peel Home Remedies for Skin Problems

  • For Acne

Mix the orange peel powder with rose water or milk and apply it to the acne affected area. Leave the paste on your skin for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse off with cool water. You can also mix the powder with neem leaves powder and lime juice. 

  • To Exfoliate Oily Skin

Mix orange peel powder with yoghurt and apply it to your face. Rub the paste upwards in a circular motion for 4-5 minutes and then rinse off with water. 

  • To Remove Tanning

Mix orange peel powder with a few drops of lime, sandalwood powder, Multani Mitti and aloe vera juice. Apply the paste on your skin evenly and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
