Triphala is one of the most popular formulations in Ayurveda, consisting of three highly beneficial herbs: Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki.
In Ayurveda, it is described as a Rasayana or rejuvenator that offers multiple health benefits, making it a staple medicine in the Ayurvedic healing system (1). In addition, it is also a Tridoshic Rasayana, meaning it helps pacify all the three Dosha, viz Vata, Pitta and Kapha (2).
